KiddoLearn

KiddoLearn ("the app", "we", "us") is a learning app for toddlers aged 2–4. We designed it to be private and family-safe. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information.

📱 Information stored on the device

The following is saved only on your device using local storage and never transmitted to us:

• The child's first name (optional, used only to personalize the app)
• Learning progress, stars, and badges per game
• Settings (sound, haptics, daily time limit, age group)
• The parent PIN that gates the Parent Dashboard
• Whether the "Remove Ads" upgrade has been purchased

You can clear all of this at any time by deleting the app or clearing its data.

📺 Advertising

Until the one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade is purchased, KiddoLearn shows ads between activities using Google AdMob. Because KiddoLearn is directed to children, ads are requested as non-personalized and child-directed (tagged for child-directed treatment / under age of consent). This means ads are contextual, not based on a profile of the user.

• AdMob/Google may process limited technical data (such as a device identifier) solely to deliver and frequency-cap non-personalized ads.

You can permanently remove all ads with the one-time in-app purchase, after which no ad SDK requests are made.

🛒 In-app purchases

KiddoLearn offers a single one-time purchase, "Premium Lifetime" (kiddolearn_lifetime_subscription). Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information; the app only stores a local flag indicating the upgrade is active.

To let you restore the upgrade on your other devices, the store receipt is validated by RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. RevenueCat receives the store transaction and a randomly generated, anonymous app user ID. It does not receive a name, email address, birthdate, or any other personal identifier, and we never link that ID to a person.

🚫 Data we do not collect

• No names, emails, phone numbers, or contacts sent to us
• No location data
• No photos, videos, microphone, or camera access
• No social features, chat, or user-generated content
• No selling or sharing of personal data

🧸 Children's privacy

(COPPA / GDPR-K / Play Families)

KiddoLearn is intended for use by young children under the supervision of a parent or guardian and is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR provisions for children, and the Google Play Families Policy, and Apple's requirements for child-directed apps. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Parent Dashboard and purchases are placed behind a numeric PIN parental gate.

🎛️ Your choices

• Remove ads permanently with the one-time in-app purchase.
• Turn off sound and haptics in Settings.
• Set a daily time limit in the Parent Dashboard.
• Delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
